Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 June 2026
Acceptance
By creating a Calibre account or using the Calibre mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Calibre.
Who we are
Calibre is an exam preparation service built in Pakistan for Pakistani students preparing for board (Class 9–12), MDCAT, and ECAT exams. We are not affiliated with PCTB, BISE, FBISE, PMDC, or UET Lahore.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Calibre. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must consent to these terms on your behalf.
Your account
- • Personal use only. Your Calibre account is for your individual use. Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
- • One person per account. Calibre detects shared logins (multiple devices, simultaneous sessions across cities) and may lock the account.
- • Truthful information. Use a real email address you have access to. Account recovery depends on it.
- • Keep credentials safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Subscriptions and payments
- • Free features remain free. Premium features require a paid subscription.
- • Subscriptions are billed in advance. Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees inclusive of any applicable taxes.
- • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- • You can cancel any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current cycle.
- • Refund window: we offer a no-questions refund within 7 days of payment. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion (typically only for billing errors).
Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- • Share your account or sell access to anyone else
- • Attempt to download, copy, redistribute, or republish Calibre content (MCQs, notes, past papers) outside the app
- • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
- • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools against Calibre servers
- • Use Calibre for any purpose that violates Pakistani law (PECA 2016, Personal Data Protection Bill 2023)
- • Submit abusive, fraudulent, or misleading Report Error / Review entries
Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
Content accuracy
We work hard to keep MCQs, smart studies, and past paper data accurate and aligned with the official syllabi. If you spot an error, please report it via Settings → Report Error. We typically fix within 7 days.
Calibre content is for educational preparation only. We do not guarantee your performance on any exam — that depends on your own study.
Intellectual property
Calibre app code, content, design, brand, and trademarks are owned by Calibre. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal exam preparation, for the duration of your active subscription.
Past paper questions remain the intellectual property of their respective examination authorities (PCTB, BISE boards, PMDC, UET). Calibre uses them under educational fair-use principles.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Calibre app:
Settings → Delete my account
Or email support@calibre.pk. We permanently delete all your personal data within 7 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Disclaimers
Calibre is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Calibre.
Calibre is an educational tool, not a guarantee of exam results. Outcomes depend on your own effort and preparation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email all registered users at least 7 days before any change takes effect. Continued use of Calibre after a change indicates you accept the new terms. You can delete your account if you do not agree.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Pakistani law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
